Tying the knot? Do it at any of these destinations!
So, your wedding day is getting closer. Surely, you have been preparing for it since the moment you got engaged (maybe even before). One of the things that should be chosen wisely is a place where the wedding ceremony will be held. Choosing the wedding destination depends on few things like your wedding budget, time of the year when you planned to join in matrimony and so on.
Naturally, all of us have a different taste in what’s good but here are some suggestions that may trigger your interest and maybe even have you book a flight.
New Orleans, Louisiana
Located in southeastern Louisiana, New Orleans is a town with rich history. A town that is famous for its French Quarter, and lots of cocktail bars.
Tuscany, Italy
What makes Tuscany different from other locations is that there are lots of villas for rent where a wedding ceremony can be held. It is very convenient as after the ceremony everyone can enjoy a sleepover, which is not expensive to rent. Believe it or not, hotels are way more expensive.
Riviera Maya, Mexico
One of Mexico’s advantages is the fact that it is easily reachable from almost any part of the US. This is very convenient either for the couple which is getting married or for their guests. Many resorts offer wedding organization and have on site a wedding planner willing to help you.
Montreal, Canada
Montreal is a wonderful city, especially if you are a lover of colder destinations. It’s one of Canada’s most luxurious and gorgeous destinations. The prices at this lovely city are not that high, so you won’t have to think about breaking the bank.
Aruba
Seems like this destination got popular after “Friends” the TV show. All of a sudden it became a hot spot destination for the love birds. Joke aside, Aruba really is a wonderful destination for the wedding – it’s warm, exotic and exciting!
Las Vegas
You don’t have to go to Las Vegas only when you are eloping! The city of lights is welcoming, absolutely breathtaking and it’s offering so many options. You have anything you want here, so going to Las Vegas or your wedding may as well be exciting as the fact itself that you are getting married.

Key West
If you are one of the romantics, Key West is probably a great option for you. Here, you’ll come and enjoy a laid-back, casual and relaxed destination wedding. Who doesn’t want to say their “I do’s” with the romantic sunset in the back, sandy beach that gives you the option of spending the entire time barefoot and lovely romantic music all night? I know I would!
U.S. Virgin Islands
These are known as “America’s Caribbean”. An absolutely gorgeous, tropical destination! One of the great things about it is that you can get there without any strict entry requirements or lengthy flights. Each of the three major islands – St. Croix, St. John and St. Thomas – offer distinctly different yet dramatic and stunning adventures and all are sure to please. There are plenty of activities you can do there and, basically – whatever your wedding plans are, the U.S. Virgin Islands have it.
Hawaii
Ah, Hawaii! This largest island in the chain is so dramatic and so wonderful that you’ll wish never to leave it! It’s climate is great all throughout the year so you don’t even have to worry about the time of year you’ll be going. The guests (and you!) will enjoy all the activities you can do in Hawaii – horseback riding, exploring the rain forest, or simply enjoying the beach and the sea!

Bahamas
Last, but definitely not least – Bahamas! You are probably not surprised that Bahamas made it onto our list. This is one of the most romantic spots on the planet. A sense of tranquility this place oozes with will turn all the wedding stress into a loveable bliss! Exotic, breathtaking and stunning, Bahamas are a great place to go and get married!

After the right destination for your wedding is chosen, there are lots of things to take care of. One of them is a photographer. Wedding photography is something that is very important, as the photographs you take at your wedding are something that will be with you for the rest of your life. I’d recommend you tried to find a local photographer according to the destination you chose for the wedding. He/she is surely familiar with the shooting conditions and good shooting.
