Turkish Coffee Spiced with Cardamom
Cardamom is a spice made from the seeds of several plants in the genera Elettaria and Amomum in the family Zingiberaceae. Both genera are native to India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Indonesia, Nepal, and Pakistan. There are two main types of cardamom, green cardamom and black cardamom. Both forms of these spice has a strong, unique taste, with an intensely aromatic, and they are used as flavorings and cooking spices in both food and drink, and as a medicine.

Ingredients:
- 230 milliliters of water
- 1 tablespoon Turkish coffee
- 1/8 tablespoon cardamom
- Sugar (optional)
Preparation:
Put the water and sugar in a the coffee pot and wait it for to boil, then remove the it from the heat and add the coffee and cardamom. Restore the coffee pot on the fire and wait to boil again. After the coffee starts to foam, remove it and wait a few seconds to calm down. Then pour it into a cup and let stand a few minutes for a precipitate to put down to the bottom.
