Vietnamese Coffee with Eggs – Unusual Coffee, for an Unusual Day
When you wake up and you notice that the day is going to be different in an unusual way, then the perfect way to start the day is with this unusual coffee, the vietnamese coffee with eggs. So if you are in Vietnam or you want to feel like you are on vacation in Vietnam this is the best way to start off your day.
Ingredients:
- Black coffee, enough to fill 2 small cups about 1/3
- 2 egg yolks
- 6 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 tablespoon vanilla extract
Preparation:
Prepare the coffee. Put the egg yolks in a bowl with the vanilla extract and mix until you get a thick and sticky mixture. Add the condensed milk, spoon by spoon, while mix with an electric mixer and then continue with mixing a few minutes in order to obtain dense and homogeneous mixture. Pour the coffee into 2 cups and add the egg mixture over it. Serve.
If you want your drink to stay warm, serve coffee cup in a bowl with hot water in order to keep the coffee warm.
