Letting employees personalize their space is a great idea. People like to put their own touch to things, otherwise their brains could just stop working every now and then, ruining their efficiency. As the article said, even small things like pictures and calendars is good.
Having comfortable furniture in my office is a definite must. If I have to sit in a room and work all day, I want to at least be comfortable. Asking employees for furniture suggestions is a great idea. I feel like people always work better when they’re happy, and it’s not hard to be happy when you’re comfy!
