The year round sunshine is one of the major factors that the island is popular with tourists for 12 months of the year but it also holds a number of ‘secrets’ that some holiday makers may never discover if they tend not to venture far from their resort. Lanzarote is the perfect location for family holidays.

With a number of golden beaches, sunshine and family friendly hotels it has something to offer for every age group and generation. Many families that visit Lanzarote simply enjoy the chance to relax on the beach whilst soaking up the sun. This is probably very likely if you are a family with young children. However, as the kids grow older they are more likely to want to explore the island and what else it has to offer.
