With the summer holidays just around the corner, it’s time to start thinking about what you’re going to pack! You want to make sure you are maxmising the space you have in your suitcase without compromising on style whilst you’re away. So, we’re here with some simple tips and tricks to you make packing easy and your holiday all the more fun!
First on our list we have an airport tracksuit! We all want to feel comfy for our travels, but that doesn’t mean you have to compromise on style. Go with a full tracksuit or maybe jogger shorts and a hoodie, then when you are away, you can mix and match the pieces to create so many loungewear fits. Throw on your hoodie for cooler evenings outside or pair the shorts or joggers with a t–shirt to head down to the shops or for chilled nights in. Choose from cheaper or luxury tracksuits like those from Foolish depending on your budget!
If you’re short on space in your suitcase, then you need to think carefully about what shoes you’re going to take. Rather than taking loads of different pairs, we have the perfect solution for you: espadrilles. They look beautiful in the daytime, they make a great choice for evenings or nights out, they’re super comfy and they go with literally anything. You can wear them on the plane and then all you will need to do is pack a small pair of sandals to wear around the pool and beach, which will take up barely any room.
You can get flatter espadrilles or those with a platform, so you can choose what feels most comfortable. Go for a classic white, black or nude pair depending on your wardrobe!
Denim shorts are another absolute essential for your summer holiday. Wear them over your bikini for lunch at the beach club, pair them with a bodysuit and espadrilles for your night out or with a t-shirt to get fresh pastries in the morning. There are so many different styles of denim shorts out there, from short shorts to longer leg shorts and oversized mom shorts, so spend some time trying on different styles to find your perfect fit! Denim shorts are never going to go out of style, so you can spend a bit more on these as you know they’ll last for years! Levi’s are great for denim shorts.
White Mini Dress
Next up we have the classic white mini dress! No holiday would be complete without a white mini dress, as like the espadrilles, it’s just so diverse. You could wear it for everything from lovely evening meals to beach parties and exploring the local markets. Pair with your espadrilles, a big floppy hat and your favourite sunglasses for the ultimate holiday look! Bardot is really in style at the minute, so you could choose an off the shoulder look to stay nice and cool whilst you are away.
3 Mix and Match Bikinis
Now, onto your swimwear! We would always advise that you pack three bikinis that you can mix and match. Perhaps take more simple coloured bikini bottoms and then a few colourful bikini tops, then you can switch up your combinations so it’s like you’re wearing a new bikini everyday! You could also take a couple of beach dresses to pair with your bikinis to finish the look. This is a super simple tip that will help you to maximise your holiday wardrobe when you’re away.
Heading on holiday is so exciting, and with these tips, you can make the most of your time away by looking and feeling amazing! Try to take pieces that you can wear multiple times throughout your holiday to save space and wear your heaviest/largest pieces of clothing on the plane!
