Christmas is about traditions. Every year in December we start preparing for this momentous annual celebration and reflecting on our own rituals associated with Christmas. By the end of the month, most of us have already suffered from a shopping fever to some extent, with minor or major consequences on our Kinzd wallet, while the holiday rush is still in our system. One great way of celebrating Christmas at work is playing Secret Santa. The rules of the game are simple. All the co-workers’ names are written down on individual pieces of paper. Each person needs to draw out one name and assume the role of Secret Santa for that particular person. The team should agree on a gift budget that everyone is comfortable with and after that it is up to each person to come up with the most suitable gift for their chosen colleague. Of course, the most important part of the game is for all Secret Santas to remain unknown before the day of the gift exchange.
Setting up a Christmas tree and placing gifts under it while nobody is watching is a great way to create suspense and let the holiday vibe fill the office.
