Whether you’re staging your home for sale, welcoming guests for an extended stay, or just ready to clean up the place a bit, cleaning up your home can feel like an intensive project. However, it doesn’t need to be. If you break it down into smaller projects and focus on these areas, sprucing up you home can be done quickly and easily.
Focus on Quality, Not Quantity
A little bit of luxury goes a long way, so if you’re not able to completely renovate your space, start small and then scale. Choose small yet high-quality pieces that add pizzazz, like marble, crystal, or gold accents pieces. Furthermore, focusing on quality rather than quantity also applies to the furniture you may be considering.

Upgrade Lighting
Fancy decor and high-quality furniture isn’t all you can do to spiff up your home. Doing some maintenance around the house is another a great way to upgrade your home in a flash. Start off easy by checking your lighting.
If the light your bulbs are producing is very faint and dim, then you’ll need to change them. As you change your bulbs, replace them with LED light bulbs. They’re more efficient and last longer that regular bulbs which make them more environmentally friendly. They are also very study.
If possible, you can also change your light fixtures as well. If you’re on a tight budget, a change as simple as different lamp shades can easily spruce up a room.
Tackle Repairs
It’s easy to ignore problems the longer you live somewhere. When we get used to something, we generally don’t think about the little things in the home such as loose handle on a drawer or fixing that crack in the mirror. But turning a blind eye to these problems won’t make them go away.
While issues like these may seem insignificant, it’s been proven that even the little things impact how you feel in your home. Go over your entire house and see what needs a tune-up. You should check your doors, windows, attic, and roof for any gaps or leaks that let in drafts or water. You can do many repairs yourself, like filling in gaps around doors and windows with caulk. However, you may need a professional for bigger problems.
